Renaming a project in Domino is simple but irreversible. When you rename a project, all its endpoints are automatically unpublished and will have new URLs when republished.
You will also need to clone any local copies again, as the metadata will still reference the old project name.
-
Open the Project that you want to rename.
-
Go to the Setting > Access & Sharing tab.
-
Enter a new Project Name and, optionally, a Description of the Project. Domino checks to make sure another project does not use the new name.
-
Click Rename Project.
-
Read the warning carefully. If any of these events are unacceptable, click Cancel.
-
If you still want to rename your project, click Rename Project to complete the process.
Domino will rename your Project, and you can continue working on it immediately.
