-
Domino will only address issues relating to the performance of the Domino Platform and Environment running the Anaconda Distribution.

Anaconda also imposes the following usage restrictions: When Anaconda is used for the design, construction, maintenance, or operation of any hazardous Environments or systems, including
-
Power generation systems
-
Aircraft navigation or communication systems;
-
Air traffic control systems, or any other transport management systems
-
Safety-critical applications, including medical or life support systems
-
Vehicle operation applications, or any police, fire, or other safety response systems
-
Military or aerospace applications, weapons systems, or Environments
Domino customers should be aware of the following Special Notes to above:
-
Domino’s customers accessing and using Anaconda Distribution for the use cases above, do so at their own risk.
-
Anaconda does not guarantee the packages are fit for any particular purpose and Anaconda does not indemnify any harm that’s suffered as a result of their use. This is the general risk of using open-source software (“OSS”), which lacks some of the security and vetting required by the higher risk posed by using openly available source code in those Environments.
-
While Anaconda does perform due diligence on our methodology for rebuilding the OSS packages in Anaconda Distribution, to make them compatible with the repository and our tooling, Anaconda/we don’t review the underlying source of the OSS contributed by the upstream creator(s) (i.e., Anaconda/we don’t perform a line-by-line analysis of a given package’s source code). A Domino Data Lab’s customer using OSS packages in the examples noted above should exercise extreme care and implement internal processes to further vet any packages used for such purposes.
-
If a customer wants to take extra caution around Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) in OSS, please work with Anaconda directly for a higher-tier premium product.
