Embed a Code Assist App in Tableau

Embed Code Assist apps directly in Tableau dashboards. Deployed apps are effectively web pages and can be embedded into other web pages using an <iframe>.

  1. Start with a blank dashboard.

  2. Add a Web Page object to the dashboard. Paste the URL for the app. 🚨 The app must be publicly accessible. Test this by trying to open the URL in an incognito browser window.

  3. The app is added to the dashboard. Again, the app occupies the whole dashboard by default.

  4. Click the down arrow on the right and select Floating.

  5. Resize and move the app to the desired location.
