Use Grafana workload monitoring in Domino

Domino provides a dedicated Grafana monitoring interface for monitoring workload execution, model performance, and infrastructure coordination. This monitoring is focused on the applications and jobs running in your Domino environment, but not the underlying infrastructure Domino manages.

Cloud administrators can use these dashboards to:

  • Monitor active workloads and execution status.

  • Troubleshoot performance issues and startup delays.

  • Track model API health, response times, and traffic.

  • Observe resource usage and scaling behavior across data planes.

This guide shows you how to access the monitoring interface, interpret key dashboards, and identify issues affecting system performance and reliability.

Prerequisites

Before continuing, make sure the following are in place:

  • Cloud Administrator: You are assigned this role in your organization. This is required for access to all workload monitoring dashboards and features.

  • Network Access: You can reach https://<your-domino-domain>/grafana-workload from your local environment or VPN.

  • Grafana Familiarity (optional): You have basic knowledge of how to read and interpret Grafana dashboards.

Only users with the Cloud Administrator role can access Grafana workload monitoring. This role grants full access to dashboards, alerting, and monitoring configurations.

Access the Grafana Workload dashboard

Grafana integrates with Domino authentication. If you are logged into Domino with a Cloud Administrator role, you will be automatically authenticated. Otherwise, you will see the login screen.

Open the following URL in your browser:

https://<your-domino-domain>/grafana-workload

This URL opens the workload monitoring dashboards, where you can track execution activity, resource usage, and performance metrics.
